Shenzhen
City Shenzhen is located in the mid-southern coastline
of China Guangdong province. It is closed by Tai Ya
Bay in the east, near the mouth of Zhujiang river in
the west and separated from Hong Kong by a river in
the south. Shenzhen City has six districts, including
Luohu, Futian, Nanshan, Bao'an, Longgang and Yantian,
with 1,090,000 permanent dwellers and 2,700,000 temporary
ones.
In a general economic strength survey on Chinese cities,
Shenzhen was rated as the fifth strongest. Shenzhen
owes that honor to its foresighted city plan, convenient
transportation and communication, adequate power and
water supply, sound financial system, mature educational
and medical services, tourism network, booming technology
industry and a subway system (under construction).
