Anda

Anda City is located in the mid-western part of Heilongjiang province, in the center of Songnen Plain Binzhou Railway and Hada Highway traverse its urban district. It is the golden section of Hadaqi Economic Coordinated Region. It is rich in natural resources. Its arable land takes up 128.000 hectares. Meadow area is one 168,000 hectares. The vegetation of meadows is famous for sheep grazing both at home and abroad. It has reed ponds covering an area of 6,000 hectares. The water zone is 19,000 hectares; the subsoil water storage is 306 hundred million cubic meters. It has an oil field, named as "Shengping", produces crude oil 300,000 tons per year. Anda is also renowned for its cows. The amount of cows is 120,000, and the frosts milk is 200,000 tons per year. The output of the livestock is 51% of the gross agricultural value. There are 205 enterprises engaging in four main industries: medicine, chemistry, food, and building material. The function of the city is increasingly improved. The urban surroundings are graceful. Its facilities are well-established: tourism, trade, public shuttle bus, water supply and drainage system, and epidemic prevention, etc.
